IPBC is used in a variety of applications, ranging from household items to industrial processes. You can use IPBC in the following ways:

• Pesticide: IPBC is found in antimicrobial insecticides and pesticides for nonfood uses, including home and garden pest control.
• Manufacturing additive: Many manufacturing processes use IPBC as a preservative, such as in plastics, paint, textiles, ink and canvas.
